BURLINGTON, VT: Ambient jazz guitarist Tom Pearo is poised to release the first music video for his song “Headspace”, off his debut album of the same name, on February 8th, 2019. This debut music video, which can be viewed at this link, fuels the imagination and takes you for a magical journey. Starring violinist Shay Gestal, with Kayhl Cooper behind the lens, Headspace provides significant evidence that the power of music is real.
Available for streaming on Spotify, iTunes, Bandcamp, YouTube, or directly at tompearo.com, Headspace is a uniquely beautiful recording that serves as a vehicle for your mood. Headspace features drummer, bassist and co-producer Dave DeCristo (Signal Kitchen) as well as violinist Shay Gestal (Old Sky, Vestal Oak) and was mastered by the legendary JJ Golden of Golden Studios.
Headspace is available for streaming, digital download, compact disc, or 180 gram vinyl.
Pearo has also announced a music video release party at the Light Club Lamp Shop in Burlington on Friday, February 8th, 2019. RSVP to the Facebook event here. Says Pearo, “To celebrate the release I’m throwing a killer show at my favorite venue in town, the Light Club Lamp Shop. Place
straight up is like being in Alice in Wonderland. I’m going to premiere the music video, leading up to it with two other videos that me and Kayhl worked on last year that really provided the inspiration for ‘Headspace.’ Together it makes for about a 16-minute video experience all together, and is really cool! I’m also going to be raffling off some of my most prized possessions- 6 Headspace vinyl test pressings, one for each track on the album, signed by the entire band, and with totally custom/different artwork that I’m very, very excited about and have been working on a lot.
After all that, we’ll conclude the evening with a killer 90-minute FULL BAND set that is literally going to make everyone cry and tear their hair out. In a good way.”
