Engage Your Fanbase- Marketing Tips

What is Engage Your Fanbase all about?

We know that musicians have a drive to make their art a way of life- earn a living doing this and only this- to make it profitable. You might understand technology and maybe a little marketing, but don’t necessarily have a roadmap for how to fit the pieces together. Our goal is to help bands in the all important task of engaging, developing and maintaining their fanbases. To do this, you need information you can immediately act on regarding marketing and branding. The idea is to help you get to the next level. With a focus on live music, which is where the majority of your money will be made, we will show you, step by step, how to increase your draw, Facebook likes, Twitter followers, and every other metric available to you to show that your music's popularity is increasing.

Vision

The Vision for this blog is to provide a professional yet fun perspective to music marketing.

  • We aim to make it easy to access information about promotion of the artist's craft in a concise, informative, directly applicable way.
  • We strive to constantly give back to the community of artists, bands, musicians, venues and the music industry as a whole.
  • We want to make music marketing less mysterious and more practical; to give the community a forum to engage in ways that benefit the community as a whole; to bring people together in a way that makes everyone more successful; and to help more efficiently spread the word about good music.

Mission

Our mission is to teach easy and effective music marketing strategies that directly helps musicians and venues get their message and music out there. We aim to demystify music marketing in a way that is fun, user-friendly, engaging and effective to make artists more successful and connected to their fanbase. We believe that music is a part of the soul- we connect through music, and ultimately humans are always searching for ways to connect in their search for meaning- musicians are the connectors in our lives and, as such, an integral part of our human search for meaning. By giving artists the tools they need to engage with listeners and potential fans, we are ultimately engaging in a world-wide project to make the world a smaller, more connected, loving and healthy place.
