Holy cow: 2018 is off to an amazing start. We are already booking bands at festivals and concert series throughout the 2018 season all over the USA. Thank you so much for working with us. We truly value the great relationships we have with venues and buyers across the country.

Black Masala is fixing to release a new album in 2018, and will be performing new material starting very shortly. New videos, photos, and energy will be infusing this great band's touring machine. We're seeking March 16 for them in the northeast. They'll be coming back around for the Strangecreek Campout, and we look forward to working with y'all to bring their uniquely ethnic funk to your area.

We are so proud to be working with Swift Technique who are high on their team's upcoming Super Bowl appearance, so much so that they have been releasing their own versions of the EAGLES fight song, including remixes! Horn laden funk and R&B is great for events and clubs, and we're booking the heck out of their spring already. Get ready to get down.

John Kadlecik is on tour with so many different projects one might have troubles keeping track. February has him doing shows in his solo Acousti'Lectric format, with the John Kadlecik Band (right now featuring Jay Lane on drums, Benjie Porecki on keys, and Wavy Dave Burlingame from Cornmeal on bass) and spring sees shows with Everyone Orchestra and Golden Gate Wingmen. Nearly every corner of the map is being considered, so let us know if you'd like to do a show, and we'll let you know about routing and format when the veteran of Dark Star Orchestra, Furthur, Phil and Friends, and many other touring bands will be in your neck of the woods.

Freekbass has a new album coming out in 2018, too, with amazing Grammy winning producers and engineers on his team. We're seeking March 16 in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or northern Illinois. Seeking options nearly everywhere in the east for various touring stops. Seeking southeast options for Friday, March 23 to go with a play in Georgia, and much more. The Freekship is sailing past you, and he's ready to get off and get down with you.

Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers current album on Vizztone is charting nationally on the blues, jamband, and roots charts. Plenty of dates are available in the northeast for this spring, and national touring is likely to happen this summer. Female lead delta blues is hard to find, and this band is easy to use and accessible. Seeking April 5 or 7 to route with a great play in MD - seeking Pennsylvania, Delaware, and DC routing.

Speaking of charting, Jocelyn & Chris Arndt (full band) are continuing their assault on the Billboard AAA top 40 charts. Ending the year with an appearance at #37, they started the year at #35. The band is very accessible, and is perfect for festivals and concert series. That's why Mountain Jam signed them, and that's why you should program them for your event, too. We're seeking April 7 in the northeast to go with club plays, and they will be touring nationally in August, but we're not afraid of any date anywhere sooner than that.

Our old friends, Bumpus, are back and will have a new album in 2018. A longtime staple in the Chicago music scene, they are hitting it harder in 2018 with a new release and a new energy. We've already signed several concert series and festivals, and we're anxious to work with y'all, too!

The Alchemystics have just finished up their busiest schedule in years, with a series of shows that ended 2017 and extended through January. The latest lineup is locked and loaded, and they have never sounded better. A great band for events, festivals, and concert series, their diversity extends from the stage and into the music mixing soul, reggae, hip hop, and rock in a way that is distinctly their own.

Bella's Bartok has a new album in the can, and it should be released any second now. Their Greenfield, MA New Year's Eve show was over sold with 450 people in the room, and nearly every time they return to a market, the audience size swells. The level of creativity and songwriting sensibility in this band is unmatched, and we believe that they are going to be the darlings of events all over the US here soon. Get on board before it is too late.

Flux Capacitor recently released their first live album, have been putting out videos at an alarming rate, and are hitting on all cylinders. The band is taking a new tack on booking by concentrating their shows into concise tours and putting out new artwork and promotion for every run. As their personal family is growing this spring, so too is their musical family, with new fans coming on board at every show.

Max Creek's spring schedule is complete, a new live album is in the works, an amazing Creekiversary run is planned for April, and summer festival season is upon us. Some new projects and events are being planned for 2018, and the most legendary band in New England history is hitting new highs. The band has never sounded better, and after 47 years, that is saying something.
LMNR Logo In the News, Wardruna announce Short but Sweet North American Tour, Tood Stoops Interview, Elton John to retire from touring, and Creekiversary.

Many Reviews are in, including Rhythm Inc and the Alchemystics at Hawks and Reed, Max Creek returns to Pearl Street, Strange Machines at the Snow Barn, the 2nd Annual Strange One's Ball at Hawks and Reed, Mia Dyson at the Echo, and many more.

Rock n Roll Resort v8 "The Grateful Escape" and Las Rageous are previewed, and up and coming artists, Jocelyn & Chris Arndt, are in the spotlight.

We're seeking out new writers all the time, so please hit us at with your ideas. Traffic has radically increased lately, and we have been able to garner press passes for some contributors to get to shows they never thought possible. Consider the glory!

We continue to offer venue programming for clubs of all shapes and sizes. Included in our venue programming is comprehensive marketing services, such as social media and email marketing, along with publicity services. Hit us at to discuss your venue programming needs.

Meet our publicity maven, Kelly Drew. Kelly is working hard with clients in all aspects of publicity and marketing.

Getting your music to stand out from the crowd takes a strong band brand, strategic planning and consistent execution. The Simon Says Publicity Department offers bands and musicians wrap-around marketing and publicity services that not only make the job of marketing your music easier, we make it more effective. We continue to offer bands traditional publicity services, most recently with clients like Jocelyn & Chris Arndt, Kwame Binea, the Big Takeover, and Rev Tor's "Last Waltz Live." We’ve also expanded to provide day-to-day band marketing implementation services, currently working with Swift Technique, the Skatalites, Max Creek, the Alchemystics, Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers, Lovewhip, and Woody & the Rebel Alliance. The Simon Says Publicity Department is also available for comprehensive Band Branding and Marketing Plan projects. Most recently, we finished a project with Heart-Centered Kirtan, Fire in the Field, and crossover tribute Steal Your Peach Band, fusing together the music of the Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Band.

Be sure to hit up Kelly to find out how we can help you reach the next level!

TRIBUTE BANDS APLENTY! Box of Rain is doing really well with well attended markets and shows in PA, DC, MD and NJ. Deadbeat has New England on lock down and has some avails to end 2017 and into winter and spring of 18. Bob Marley tribute band, Duppy Conquerors, is spreading their wings and bringing Nesta's message to folks all over the northeast. The Last Waltz Live is recreating one of the most significant concerts and concert films in history, and we have an innovative plan that involves musicians from your region to help populate the cast and the audience. And we have more options for you, too including tributes to the Allman Brothers, a Dead / Allmans mashup, and tributes to David Bowie and more.

The Skatalites are preparing to hit the road and book weekend dates throughout the spring. We've already got some April shows lined up, and we'd love to have y'all join in on the fun for 2018. National touring is very possible for the most legendary ska and reggae band in music history.

TreeHouse! has a new album and video release slated, and will be touring throughout the east this winter and spring. Mixing modern elements of reggae, their progressive sounds are catching the ears of fans nationwide, and their Spotify and Youtube analytics are off the charts.

This year is shaping up to be the best year ever for Simon Says Booking, and we could not do it without y'all. Let's make some music happen people!
