Hope springs eternal - who knows if the nice weather in New England this past week is a sign of early spring or just a terrible tease. I know we're both still prepared for more winter with great ski area gigs and events and ready for spring and festival season.

So much is happening as the agency and the world's greatest bands are preparing for a summer season packed with festivals and concert series slots. National tours are on tap for many of our artists, and we can't wait to talk with you about routing and your plans.

Freekbass has shows in every corner of the country right now, and has routing availability all over including March 24 between Lexington and Thomas WV. Seeking April 28 in eastern TN or KY, or western NC or WV to go with a festival play. Seeking May 18/19 in the Midwest en route to Colorado shows, August in the northeast, December in Florida, and really options abound all over the map. Get down and get funky with the bass master.

Taj Weekes and Adowa are out on national tour and we are seeking shows including May 26 and 27 en route to their appearance at the KY reggae festival. Dates are already slated for late June in PA and VA, and then a quick jaunt to the west coast where shows are already confirmed in CA July 4, and UT July 8, and WI July 23. We are seeking show options everywhere in the US for this amazing band whose origins are in St Lucia. In addition to clubs, festivals and concert series, because of Weekes' status as a Unicef Children's Champion and humanitarian, other options including library, school, and even house concert experiences are available. Apparently Mr Weekes and his crew are amazing in the kitchen, and special events can include Caribbean cuisine and cultural lectures alongside a house concert or intimate setting.

Roots of Creation are already on tap for some of the best festivals in the country including California Roots festival, Disc Jam, Harry's Hill in Maine, and more. Routing dates are available including to and from California Roots in late May, surrounding Carolina plays AUG 30-SEP 3 routing down and back, surrounding Camp Bisco July appearance and more. Riding a wave of national attention after their Billboard #1 reggae album position last spring, Roots of Creation are bringing their inspired progressive reggae to fans from coast to coast.

Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers have been asked back to the Tall City Blues festival in Midland Texas this July. We are currently routing dates for them from New England to TX and back with avails all over the map. Yet another visit to the International Blues Competition in Memphis this winter has shown promoters and fans alike that their particular brand of Delta Blues can make you jump. Many of you buyers have asked us about female lead acts for this season, and Erin's brand of blues is great for events. Additionally, she can conduct a workshop in guitar, and her Memphis Minnie inspired sound has proven to be infectious to audiences.

John Kadlecik just finished a very successful run with Golden Gate Wingmen in the northeast and is confirming shows mostly in his solo Acousti'Lectric format. A return to Hawaii and the western states of OR, WA, and CA are already solidifying for April. Avails in the southeast abound for March, April, and May when he returns to New Orleans as a part of Jazzfest and the Voodoo Dead shows April 29 and 30. Some limited full band options exist for routing dates surrounding appearances in Virginia and the Carolinas in May - Ohio and Pennsylvania festival appearances in July, August, and beyond. This month, John will be doing some recording to feature his new direction and lineup.

The genius factory that is Start Making Sense is mostly completely booked through early summer. There are many opportunities this season, though, for events and festivals for the band, and we are already making plans for fall. Band leader, Jon Braun, has retaken his throne at the drum set in one of his first bands, Insidious Rays, who are seeking April 21 in the northeast. Already booked for Musikfest in PA and Strangecreek in MA plus numerous dates opening for SMS, Insidious Rays are ready to regain their adrenaline fueled place in the hearts of fans all over the US. A band with a cult following that reminds one of the early days of Ween the Rays have reformed and are raring to go. Additionally, the SMS crew has launched Band from Mars, their tribute to David Bowie, which brings the same exactness and attention to detail to the thin White Duke's catalog as they did to the Talking Heads.
LMNR LogoIn the News, Flux Capacitor Moonrocks Tour and 2017 New England Music Awards nominees are announced. Golden Gate Wingmen at The Sherman and Steve Hackett at Wilbur Theatre are in Show Reviews. Rock n Roll Resort 7 and Jungle Jam are Previewed. The Chameleon Project is in the Band Spotlight. The Artist Review is Eric Lee at the Iron Horse Music Hall. We're seeking out new writers all the time, so please hit us at lmnandr at gmail dot com with your ideas. Traffic has radically increased lately, and we have been able to garner press passes for some contributors to get to shows they never thought possible. Consider the glory!

The Skatalites are touring internationally with the vigor of a youthful band despite their 53 years on the road. There are many opportunities for events and clubs to book the most legendary band in ska and reggae, including April 6-23, June 8-18, July 28 - Aug 6, and throughout September into the fall. Anywhere is possible, and the band is booked in Wisconsin on September 16.

Wobblesauce is getting ready to release their new album with an invigorated lineup that now includes Scotty Zwang on the drums from Dopapod and Steve Learson from Jimkata and Indobox on the keys. They are continually integrating new music and visuals into the show and an abundance of tour dates for April are laid down and we are booking festival and club appearances around the country for the rest of 2017.
